Built for trust on both sides
FlyerBoard exists because flyer distribution has always been hard to verify. Here's exactly how we make sure every flyer was placed and every payout was earned.
Four pillars of trust
Trust isn't a feature β it's the whole product. Every system we build supports one of these four pillars.
GPS-verified placement
Every proof photo is captured in-app with embedded GPS coordinates. Placements outside the campaign zone are flagged automatically.
Timestamped, in-app capture
Photos must be taken inside the FlyerBoard app β uploads from camera roll are flagged. Timestamps must fall inside the campaign window.
Funds in escrow
Campaign budgets are held in a regulated escrow account until proof is approved. Workers know they'll be paid; businesses know they only pay for verified work.
Two-way accountability
Workers rate businesses; businesses rate workers. Repeat bad actors are removed automatically. Repeat strong performers earn priority access.
How a single placement becomes verified payment
Every flyer follows the same five-step path from street to bank account.
- 1
πWorker arrives at the placement spot
GPS checkInside the campaign zone, the worker opens the FlyerBoard camera. The app confirms the device is in-zone before proof can be captured.

πΈPhoto is captured in-app
Tamper-evidentThe flyer placement is photographed using the in-app camera. The image is stamped with precise GPS coordinates and the exact capture time β neither can be edited.

πΊοΈProof appears on the campaign map
Live previewEach placement plots on the business's campaign dashboard as a pin on a map, with the photo, exact location, and timestamp visible.

β Business reviews & approves
24-48 hours typicalThe business reviews each proof and approves, requests a fix, or rejects with a reason. Workers get a notification immediately.

π°Funds are released from escrow
Auto-releasedApproved proof unlocks payment automatically. Funds move from escrow to the worker's payout method, typically arriving within 1-3 business days.
Auto-released
Photo + GPS + Timestamp = Proof
πΈPhoto
Captured through the FlyerBoard in-app camera. Camera-roll uploads are flagged. Photos that can't be inspected (too dark, too blurry, no flyer visible) are sent back for resubmission.
πGPS
Precise coordinates are embedded at the moment of capture. Each placement must fall inside the campaign zone or it's automatically flagged. Businesses see every placement plotted on a map.
πTimestamp
The exact capture time is locked in. Proof submitted before the campaign starts or after it ends is rejected automatically. This prevents reused photos from past jobs.
Real humans review the hard cases
Automation catches the obvious problems. Real moderators handle the rest.
π€Automatic flags
- Duplicate or near-duplicate photos across submissions
- GPS coordinates outside the campaign zone
- Timestamps outside the campaign window
- Patterns suggesting coordinated fraud across accounts
ποΈHuman moderation
- Every flagged account is reviewed by a human within 48 hours
- Decisions are documented and visible to both parties
- Repeat-offender removals are reviewed by a second moderator
- Appeals are handled by a different moderator than the original
How a dispute actually works
- 1
Someone opens a dispute
Either side can dispute a rejection, an unfair brief, or missed payment. Funds tied to the disputed proof are frozen β neither side can withdraw them.
- 2
Both parties submit evidence
The original campaign brief, all proof photos with metadata, message history, and any extra context are gathered automatically. Both parties can add a written statement.
- 3
A neutral moderator reviews
A FlyerBoard moderator who hasn't worked with either party reviews all evidence within 48 hours. The decision is based solely on whether the work matched the brief.
- 4
Decision and outcome
The decision is communicated to both parties with a written reason. Funds are released to the appropriate side. If patterns of bad behavior emerge, the relevant account is flagged for follow-up review.
- 5
Appeal if needed
Either side can appeal once with new evidence within 7 days. A second moderator handles the appeal independently to ensure neutrality.
What βpayment protectionβ actually means
π’For businesses
- You only pay for proof you have actually approved
- Unstarted or canceled work is refunded automatically
- Funds you deposit sit in regulated escrow, not in operating cash
- If a worker abandons the job, their portion is auto-refunded or reassigned
πΆFor workers
- Funds are escrowed before you start β the business can't walk away
- Approved proof unlocks payment automatically
- Unfair rejections can be disputed and overturned
- If FlyerBoard rules in your favor, payment is released even if the business stalls
How to tell a campaign is legit
Workers β these are the green flags to look for before accepting any campaign.
Verified business badge
Look for the verified checkmark next to the business name.
Clear, specific brief
Real campaigns spell out method, zone, payout, and deadlines clearly.
Defined zone with map
If you can see the zone outlined on the map, it's a real campaign.
Responsive in messages
Legit businesses reply to questions inside the app within hours, not days.
Past campaign rating
Established businesses have completed campaigns and visible ratings.
Fair, market-rate payout
If pay seems weirdly high or weirdly low for the work, ask before accepting.
Common trust questions
Trust is built one campaign at a time
Whether you're posting your first campaign or applying to your first job β every step is verified, every payment is protected.
